Abstract

This article aims to examine the correlation between the work environment and employees job satisfaction in National Narcotics Agency of North Sumatra Province. The number of samples in this study was 73 employees who were registered as permanent employees. The sample collection technique in this research uses total sampling technique. Data collection wqs carried out using a Likert scale model for work environment and job satisfaction. The results of the research using the product moment correlation technique (r_xy )  are known to be 0,424 with p = 0,000 0,05. This means that there is a positive relationship correlation between work environment and job satisfaction in employees, the more positive work environment, the more positive the job satisfaction and the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Work environment contributed 18,0% to job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Study of the Factors Influencing Employee Motivation in Beringin Jaya I Village Cooperative Unit. The research method used is a method with a descriptive quantitative approach. The samples in this study were KUD Makmur Jaya employees in Beringin Jaya Village with a total sample of 51 people. Sampling using total sampling technique. The work motivation scale is compiled based on factors that influence work motivation according to Maslow (in Kristanti, 2019) factors that influence work motivation, namely: Physiological Needs, Need for a sense of security (Safety and Security Needs), Social needs or affiliation ( affiliation or acceptance Needs), Needs that reflect self-esteem (Esteem or Status Needs), Self-actualization needs (Self-Actualization), The highest factor that influences work motivation is the factor of the need for a sense of security giving the largest contribution, namely 81.70%., The smallest factor that is influencing work motivation is the need for self-actualization which is equal to 42.50%.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the relationship between perceptions of career development and the performance of PDAM Medan City Branch employees. Employee performance is work performance or work results both in quality and quantity achieved by employees per unit time period as a level where employees meet/achieve work requirements specified in an organization in accordance with authority and responsibility. The type of research used is quantitative. The research population was 35 people and the sampling technique used was Total Sampling. The data analysis method uses the Product Moment Correlation technique from Pearson. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of career development and employee performance where the value of rxy = 0.986, with p 0.000. The mean empirical mean value of perceptions of career development (90.74) is greater than the average hypothetical value (72.5) and the mean empirical mean value of employee performance (137.63) is greater than the average value hypotheses (105). The contribution of perceptions of career development to employee performance is 97.2% (R² = 0.972), while the rest (2.8%) is determined by other factors in this study that were not examined.

Abstract

This study aims to see the correlation between the principal's interpersonal communication with work motivation on the teachers of SMP Islam Namira Medan. This research uses quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used was the Total Sampling Technique with a total of 30 people. Using the Likert scale technique, namely the interpersonal communication scale and work motivation scale. This analysis uses the Kolmogorov-Smirnov technique with the help of the SPSS version 25.0 computer program for Windows. used is if p 0.05 then it is declared normal and vice versa if p 0.05 then the distribution is declared abnormal. This means that the hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between interpersonal communication and work motivation. That the principal's interpersonal communication is classified as very high. This can be seen from the comparison of the empirical average (74.73) which differs more than the SD number (15.803) with the hypothetical average value (72.5). Then work motivation is classified as very high. This can be seen from the comparison of the empirical average (70.43) which differs more than the SD number (17.399) with the hypothetical average value (62.5).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between workload and work stress for Senior STIKes Medan lecturers. The method in this study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were Senior STIKes Medan lecturers. The sample in the study amounted to 60 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The data collection method uses a workload scale and work stress scale with a Likert Scale model. Data analysis method using Person Product Moment. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between workload and work stress (r = 0.448, p = 0.000). Thus the hypothesis in this study is accepted.
